Many best wishes. This is a follow-up to the introduction to the Breakthrough ACTION agreement note sent a few days ago. 

An important part of this process is to facilitate the sharing of your health-related social and behaviour change (SBC) knowledge and ideas in support of the work of other programmes and initiatives. The 103,000 people in The CI network and over 1 million users sessions per annum on the platform provide a base for that sharing as a contribution to strengthening efforts to increase integration of proven SBC interventions in health and development programmes worldwide.

In addition to the summary of your work/thoughts, please provide us with the URL(s) where the resource (or information about the project) may be found, as well as any documentation that will help us provide a complete citation. Our editorial team will then develop a summary of your resource or project, contacting you via email to ensure that it is OK.

Though Breakthrough ACTION and The CI are interested in all SBC initiatives focused on health issues, some of the specific areas of focus include: family planning and reproductive health; HIV/AIDS; malaria; and maternal, neonatal, and child health (MNCH), with additional attention to health security issues and emerging pandemic threats and other infectious diseases. There is a cross-cutting emphasis on gender equality, female empowerment, and youth.

We would welcome information about resources or projects that incorporate any SBC strategies, including: emerging SBC approaches such as behavioural economics and human-centred design; innovative monitoring and evaluation of SBC; best practices in integrated (cross-health area or cross-sectoral) social and behaviour change communication (SBCC) interventions; and SBC capacity development strategies for institutions and individuals.
