Impact: Community Media

The Communication Initiative has been collecting from the network and summarising research and evaluation that measures the impact of community media initiatives. 220 of these can be reviewed here - with filters for you to further refine to your specific interests such as a country or particular development issue.  We would very much welcome you using the comments facilities on The CI platform to please (a) share any impact evaluations that you use or cite as demonstrating the effectiveness of community media strategies (b) likewise any studies or papers that reference that show the struggles of this field of work to demonstrate impact and (c) from the research and studies here, filtered to your interests, highlight the impact research that is most compelling.
